With over 365 million views in 24 hours, Deadpool & Wolverine has broken the record previously held by Spider-Man: No Way Home for the most-viewed trailer ever.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release on July 26, 2024, and the first trailer was jam-packed with Secret Wars Easter Eggs, X-Men cameos, and more. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are “about to save the whole Marvel universe,” says X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn.

As a result of all this and more, the trailer was unveiled during Super Bowl LVIII, breaking all previous records. The Super Bowl, in which the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers, also broke records for most viewers.

According to Statista, the teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, featuring Deadpool & Wolverine, has surpassed 355.5 million views. The teaser trailer of Avengers: Endgame (289 million views), the final trailer of Avengers: Endgame (268 million views), and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (257 million views) fell far behind Spider-Man: No Way Home.
